“The miracle isn't that I finished. The miracle is that I had the courage to start.”

I’ve reached my final stop on this journey: The Parthenon in Connecticut. The Parthenon was started in 1985 and has won awards such as “best diner” and “best breakfast”. This diner was my favorite; they had delicious pancakes and an espresso latte iced coffee that gave me some much needed energy.  While there I recognized someone who I has seen at Tops Diner in New Jersey! We shared information on our journeys with each other and even had a chance to meet the owner of the diner. These are some napkin rollers from the diner.

My favorite part of the journey was discovering how to live in a way that I was not accustomed to before. It has been a true experience learning how to focus on other things in life rather than what I was used to. This trip has given value to things such as nature and I’ve begun to see the importance of getting out and experiencing different things, regardless of whether they seem difficult. I have experienced things that I will never forget and met some amazing people along the way. This journey is one I will never forget and inspires me to take risks such as this again.
